Has rich in Linoleic and Linolenic Acid Contains mannosylerythritol lipid(MEL), a biosurfactant, which has an excellent silky touch as cosmetics. Physical properties of Linoleic/linolenic acid Linoleic acid : unsaturated fatty acid containing an 18 - carbon chain and two double bonds. Linolenic acid : unsaturated fatty acid containing an 18-carbon chain and three bonds Eicosanoid production and role of its precursor Control of eicosanoid production Prevents loss of skin integrity prevents skin from drying and keeps skin elastic and moisturized by forming protective layers on the skin tissue.
