Stable at High TemperatureEven when repeatedly braking at high temperatures, FRIXA products show low to little fade characteristics, making driving safer.*Fade : a phenonmenon in which the brake power is reduced due to a lower coefficient of friction when the brake pads become hot. Low NoiseFRIXA brakes make low noises(below 70dB) allowing comfortable driving. Brake noises not only can bother the driver but also can increase the tiredness level of the driver. With brake noises minimized, the driver can enjoy driving more. Low Wheel DustFRIXA brakes are designed with less metallic materials, which are the main culprits for wheel dust. With aramid fiber and potassium hexatitanate(K2O, 6TiO2) as main elements in the brake pads/linings, a less amount of wheel dust is generated, and the auto wheels remain cleaner. We have worked hard to design the FRIXA brakes to generate less wheel dust so that the wheels can stay cleaner. FRIXA brakes are desinged to minimize the rotor damage. With less metallic materials, the disk rotor damage is minimized.Metallic materials like steel fiber can damage the disk rotor to the point of high noses, making safe driving impossible. Using less metallic materials, FRIXA brakes have solved the rotor damage problem. Environment FriendlyHarmful metal materials llik Pb(lead), Cd(cadmium), Hg(mercury), Cr(chrome), are not used in the FRIXA brake pads. Asbestos and fiberglass materials known to cause lung cancer are also not used in the FRIXA brake pads, which are designed to be environment and health friendly. SUS-ShimThe SUS shim is added to the rubber coating shim found in regular brakes to stop the heat transfer to the brake cylinder, preventing the vapor lock and minimizing brake noises. 3. Back plate colorA variety of back plate colors is available to satisfy a wide range of customers.   4. High quality materials are used(50% more than standard brakes).
