Composition Solution of a modified urea Application Mainly used in medium polar systems. Industrial and traffic coatings. Polyurethane systems and filler, primer surfacers. Systems containing pearlescent and/or aluminum pigments. Zinc-rich and related coatings. Advantages Strong thixotropic flow behavior. Pseudo-plastic & thixotropic rheology prevent settling & sagging Recommended usage is mainly medium polarity systems. Good chemical and weather resistance Properties Solid content 49~51% Flash point 91°C Appearance Hazy Amine value Max. 0.2mg KOH/g Density at 25°C 1.13 Solvent 1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone Recommended Amounts and Incorporation Methods The additive amounts : 0.1~0.3% for anti-settling, 0.5~1.0%. for sag control. SCR410NP-50 should be added under agitation to the formulation as the last ingredient. SCR410NP-50 should be distributed homogeneously throughout the system to avoid gel formation.
