Description Rheoflow DS-425 is very suitable for unsaturated polyester and UV-curing systems. It reduces the interfacial tension between the hydrophylic pigments/extenders and the hydrophobic binders. Especialy it can give rapid degassing and lower viscosity properties in the finished products. And also improved levelling and flow properties. Applications Unsaturated polyester and UV-curing coatings - Unsaturated polyester film coats and gel coats. - Sanding sealers, Putties and High filler loading systems etc.. - UV-curing coating systems etc.. All solvent based coatings - Polyester/Melamine, Alkyd/Melamine, Acryl/Melamine, Epoxy etc. - Acryl/Melamine, Urethane/Melamine, Polyester/Melamine etc.. High viscosity coatings - Vinyl mastic paints, Acrylic mastic paints. - Epoxy heavy duty paint and floor coatings based on Urethane or Epoxies. Recommended Amounts and Incorporation Methods In unpigmented coating systems, Rheoflow DS-425 can be added in any stage of the preparation. In the case of pigmented systems, it should be added to the resin before the dispersion. The added dosage is 0.2%~1.5% Rheoflow DS-425 on the total formulation, but unpigmented case it is needed 1.5%~5.0% on binder of delivery form.
