Description Rheoflow LP-4000 is a liquid acrylic polymer for use on flow and levelling agent in powder coatings and nitrocellulose lacquers. Especialy it is very compatible with acrylic resins, vinylchloride polymers, polyvinyl -ethers, chlorinated rubbers, natural resins and plasticizers etc.. Composition Acrylic polymer based on n-butylacylate. Properties Non-volatile matter >98.5% Viscosity(23°C) 130~200cps 50% in ethyl acetate Appearance Clear, high viscous liquid Density(25°C) 1.04±0.02g/cm3 Advantages Very good flow and levelling properties. Good adhesion and flexibility. Good compatibility with other resins. Prevent cratering, pinholes, fish eyes and another surface defects. Good film appearance and recoatable properties. Applications (Powder coating) Powder coatings - Acrylics, Epoxies, Polyester and Urethanes - Hybrid systems High solid coatings and UV-coatings Nitrocellulose lacquers Chlorinated coatings etc.. Recommended Amounts and Incorporation Methods In coatings on total formulation, 0.5% ~2.0% of delivery form. Usually in powder coatings, pre-mixed component with epoxy resins can be incorporated into the formulations.
