Description Rheoflow DS-330 is suitable for medium to low polar coating systems. It reduces the interfacial tension between the hydrophylic pigments/extenders and the hydrophobic binders, forming a lattice structure with the pigments at the same time. And also it effects the controlled flocculation of pigments and extenders. Composition High molecular weight carboxylic acid salt with an alkyl ammonium Properties Active ingredients 50±2% Amine value 48-54mg KOH/g Acid value 48-54mg KOH/g Density(25°C) 0.88-0.90g/cm3 Solvent Alkylbenzene Flashpoint 46°C Advantages Excellent deaerating power during paint manufacturing and mixing process. Excellent defoaming control effect on coatings. Good flow and levelling properties. Prevent cratering, pinholes, fish eyes and another surface defects. Good film appearance and recoatable properties. Applications (Powder coating) All solvent based coatings - Vinyls, Acrylics, Epoxies, Urethanes, Alkyds - Alkyd/Melamine, Alkyd/Urethane, Oil free alkyds etc.. - Acryl/Melamine, Urethane/Melamine, Polyester/Melamine etc.. Recommended Amounts and Incorporation Methods In coatings on total formulation, 0.2% ~1.0% of delivery form. Usually post-added, and dispersed uniformly. When added in pre-mix, a higher level of additive is needed than with post-addition.
