Thumbvet Florfen injection

Florfenicol is a ?uorinated analog of thiamphenicol and has been used for treatment of animal respiratory infectious diseases.Name of product: Thumbvet Florfen inj.  Product-licence holder (name and address): Korea Thumb Vet. Co., Ltd.  470-15 Sunhwa ro(740-1 Shinheung-dong), Iksan-si, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea.  Product-licence number: 34-172.  Approval date: 22. Sep. 2008.  Dosage form: Colorless transparent viscous solution.  Composition: Each 1ml contains 1)      Florfenicol                                                                                                 300 mg 2)      Polyethylene glycol 200                                                                             80  ml 3)      Propylene glycol                                                                                       q.s.  Indications   1)      Cattle: Treatment for bovine respiratory disease as below Pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus. 2)      Swine: Treatment for inflammation as below Actinobacillus pleuroneumoniae, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.  Dosage and administration   1)      Cattle: 1ml/15kg b.w., I.M. around neck. (1 additional shot with the same dose and method after 48hrs.) 2)      Swine: 0.5ml/10kg b.w., I.M. around neck. (1 additional shot with the same dose and method after 48hrs.)  Shelf life: 24 months from manufacturing date.   Storage conditions: Store in room temperature away from direct sunlight.     Precautions:   1)      Due to misuse medicine can cause residual problems in livestock food broducts. 2)      Do not use in pregnant animals or milking cow. 3)      Read the instructions carefully before use. 4)      Use only indicated animals. 5)      Follow designated indications and dosages. 6)      Not more than 10? per one injection site and must administer around neck. 7)      Edema or purulence can be occurred after injection temporarily around anal area. 8)      After administration, they might have anorexia or diarrhea temporarily. 9)      Use under veterinary prescriptions and directions. 10)  In case of the product that is out of date, alteration, deterioration or demaged product then please exchanges from the purchasing office immediately. 11)  Keep out of reach of children.  Withdrawal periods: 1) Cattle: 28 days 2) Swine: 14 days
