The mechanical cylinder lubricator is a volumetric pump composed of a plunger and a barrel. The cylinder lubricator is designed to supply a set amount of lubricants to the cylinder liner. The main objective of the lubricator is to minimize friction and corrosion between the pistonring and the cyliner liner and increase the sealing effect. The operation of the lubricator may be monitored by a non-flow or low-level alarm device installed on it.
