Laminated Belt for Apparel Fusing
Belts Designed for Fusing & Laminating
These laminated belts have been designed to offer a superior alternative to single ply PTFE/Kevlar belts at an economical price.
Kinds of Basic Style
L-6 : Total thickness 0.15mm, (Nominal thickness 0.075mm x 2ply) L-9 : Total thickness 0.23mm, (Nominal thickness 0.075mm x 3ply) L-10 : Total thickness 0.25mm, (Nominal thickness 0.125mm x 2ply) L-15 : Total thickness 0.38mm, (Nominal thickness 0.125mm x 3ply)
Applications of Laminated Belts
Textiles - fusing and laminating PVC Processing Carpet Production Wood, Fabrics&Plastics Board production Plastic & Rubber Foam Production Plastics &Rubber Molding Conveyer equipment of Electronics, Semiconductor Line
Joint Configurations- In particular, the exceptional flex-wear characteristics of the this joint makes certain that the belt will not suffer from early joint failure. This splice is very smooth and only exhibits a slight thickness change at the individual special treatment in each ply.
Edge reinforcing styles according to the customer's requirement (Wrap & Strip) One or two sides reinforced with tracking Guide (Kevlar® Profile or Stud)
Specification
Merit and Demrit of Laminated belt Merit
Single Ply belt
Laminated belt
Difficult pathway control
Easy pathway control
Weak splice area due to the low conformability
Strong splice due to the excellent conformability
Marking happened at splicing part
Splice thickness is similar to belt thickness
Crude finish of thick belt due to the weave pattern
Uniform thickness
Weak tensile strength
Strong tensile strength
Low tear strength
Strong tear strength
Easily damaged if run off
Resists edge wear
Belt may be distorted by a strong tension
Strong tension resistance without distortion
Only one surface available per product
