Features SI has provided high-performance electro-optical payloads and sensors for various applications. Engineering activities cover the complete spectrum of system and subsystem design, detail design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, testing, and verification of electro-optical payloads and sensors. Standard product includes high-resolution imaging systems for small satellites with ground sample distances of 2.5 ~ 10 m, star sensors with an accuracy better than 10 arc-seconds, optical collimators with an aperture diameter of up to 900 mm, and high-performance solid-state data storage recoder. One example of vigorous R&D activities with SI is the development of a hyper-spectral imaging system based on a three-mirror-astigmatic telescope and real-time image data compression and encryption modules.
