  The NEXIO AMP™ NX3601HDX media platform is much more than a robust HD/SD transmission server. It represents an entirely new approach to managing digital content. From ingest to transmission, the NX3601HDX delivers true shared storage, flexible media I/O and complete format transparency. Each NX3601HDX supports up to six channels of I/O, offering six-channel SD or three-channel HD or HD/SD operation. High-performance, 64-bit processing seamlessly handles HD/SD baseband video I/O and file-based ingest with enough horsepower to run additional media services right from the 3RU chassis. As standard, the NX3601HDX features the Emmy Award-winning RAIDsoft™ software RAID controller, which provides two distinct levels for safeguarding your media assets: RAID 3 and ECC parity. RAIDsoft™, which supports one- and two drive failures per logical volume, is joined by the all-new, patent-pending technology, Intrinsic Mirroring™, which automatically and simultaneously mirrors content to two NEXIO™ storage area networks (SANs) at the point of ingest. This eliminates the need to copy content from one SAN to another, or to replicate data as a background function. Intrinsic Mirroring™ works in addition to RAIDsoft™ to guarantee no loss of content and 100% bandwidth capacity in the unlikely event of a complete SAN failure.
