Installation and Maintenance
With its simple structure, its installation is very easy, and with the cut manufacture and installation, speedy installation and economical maintenance are possible.
- It uses synthetic rubber with excellent anti-ozone/freezing features and durability. Since it is manufactured with a pressure over 14000kN to achieve an exclusive mold, it is very reliable in terms of waterproofing.
- Specially manufactured double pocket waterproofing couplings are inserted between the products manufactured separately to completely prevent water leakage. Using connection reinforcement materials, optimal waterproofing is achieved.
- At both tips of the expansion joints, water drainage devices are located. Excellent waterproofing is established.
- Some portions of the vibration or impact generated as a vehicle passes over the expansion joints are absorbed by the waterproofing coupling between the products. So, impacts are not delivered to the entire cross-section of the bridge.
- As water expansion-resistance material is attached, you can completely seal the space between the fixed concrete and the expansion joint device.
Flatness & Drivability
- Round shape top secures the best drivability and the end of top has rubber to absorb shocks.
- Bolt type pre-setting device is applied for easy pre-setting even in the field, and the flatness can be also improved.
