Product DescriptionBFS is a flocculator-clarifier used in the wastewater treatment. It has a large flocculator well which provide around 10 minute of HRT for the influent and 200% of recycle flow. You can meet the effluent SS criteria of less than 8 mg/L only by retrofitting the equipments of the existing sedimentation tanks into ones of BFS without additional tank construction when you retrofit a conventional activated sludge process into a nutrient removal process 4. Sludge level may be easily controlled by sludge level sensor linked to the sludge drain and recycle pumps.
