Echo logger AA400 is a low cost, lightweight connector-free sonar altimeter designed for diverse applications in marine environments. It has been designed to be simple to use in the field without compromising the quality of data collection. It provides the user with high-resolution altitude/range data without needing any cabling. Through a Bluetooth link, users can set various parameters for measurements wirelessly. Echologger AA400 collects all measurements to the internal flash memory. Therefore users have no hassles from cables. Collected data can be downloaded from device directly to PC/notebook even smartphones via the Bluetooth. User-friendly GUI software (Autonomous Echologger Controller) is a bonus for easy-to-use. Echologger AA400 has been designed for long life time so that with conventional AA batteries(x3), it can be used for many months. A special version AA400-W can collect water-column data along the ray path.
