- From 2nd week after wearing ‘Eye Plus Alpha’, symptoms of eye discomfort, quantity and quality of tear, tear turnover, and damage on ocular surface has improved. In normal subjects without dry eye, although quantity and quality of tear has improved, change of symptoms of discomfort was not significant. In contrast, in patients with dry eye and symptoms of eye discomfort, all tear film parameters, ocular surface parameters, and cytoscopy of conjunctiva has improved after wearing ‘Eye Plus Alpha’.

- In conclusion, local delivery of antioxidant materials could help to treat dry eye syndrome and to improve eye fatigue with reduction of damage on the tear film and the surface of oculars by active oxygen.
