The COMFORT COUGH™ mechanical In-Exsufflator(MI-E) helps patients to clear bronchial secretions by gradually applying the positive pressure to the airway followed by a rapid shift to negative pressure. These rapid changes in pressure during different phases help to make the cough stronger and more effective.

Features

There is valve that controls flow and switches direction in the device. This valve switches between inhalation and exhalation with air that is supplied by blower. In the switching process, stepping motor helps to control the accurate position and to react quickly.

Not only the valve and manifold are downsized but also the loss of flow is minimized. This improvement makes flow rate increased 5% comparing with device of competitors.

This device can be used more comfortable since the noise level is much lower.
