Three sisters grew up with parents who sold vegetables and fish on a truck. The first daughter, Neung-ran Oh, became an accountant of a business conglomerate at age 32. The second daughter, Neung-mi Oh, works as a temporary librarian in a library at age 29. The youngest daughter, Neung-su Oh, failed to enter college for the fifth year at age 25.
Neung-su is highly interested in behavioral sciences and dreams of becoming a psychiatrist. She became in it because of a friend of she’s had for 10 years. The friend who always said Neung-su was her best friend ran away from Neung-su, who faced the situation of possible death and watched her friend from afar without any emotions as though she was watching a play.
Neung-su studied as hard as best she can in a one-room dormitory to enter medical school and only eats white steamed rice and kimchi and excretes only orange dung but fails this time again. Neung-su has much to do. Despite the failures, she would always bounce back and make preparations again for another college entrance exam. She would do this despite the fact that she can’t even approach team leader because she can’t concentrate.
