R:GEN is the world’s FIRST Laser to irradiate the macular, which was not accessible with photocoagulation laser.

R:GEN treat selectively only RPE layer in the retina by using the auto-ramping function and dual dosimetry seonsors. so R:GEN is a laser that can treat macular safely.

In 2013, DME (Diabetic Macular Edema) and Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSC) were approved by the Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) and European CE marking. In 2016, US FDA approval for a CSME (Clinical Significant Macular Edema) was obtained.
