APPLICATION

Select the proper width of splint and cut to desired length for splints.
apply cool water(18~20 ° C)to non-patient side(Blue) of splint using faucet or water bottle. (Do not dip into water)
Press non-patient side(Blue) with cloth towel to remove excessive water
Apply splint to a patient and wrap with elastic bandage. 
Mold to anatomy until initial set(3~5 minutes) 
It takes about 20 minutes for the splint to gain strength.

CAUTIONS
Disposable gloves should be worn while handling the splint, as the polyurethane resin will adhere to skin and clothing.
Where resin has come in contact with skin or instruments, it can be removed by using acetone or alcohol prior to setting.
Storage at high temperature or exposure to sunlight will affect the shelf life and handling properties of the material. The shelf life of Nemoa™ Finger Splint stored by the below method is about two years.(Cool dry storage is recommended, about 20 ° C(68° F).
Take care to avoid puncturing the package, for this will cause the splint to harden prematurely in the package
When a puncture occurs on the package due to wrong storage, seal up the package tightly.
If the package gets wet, it must be dried carefully by towel and then positioned at cool dry place.
As Nemoa™ Finger Splint is slimline and lightweight, patients should be cautioned against undue activities that would affect the splint integrity and their healing.
Some degree of joint stiffness and disuse dystrophy is to be expected, as in most cases of immobilization in a splint.
