The Polytec’s ball valves have a range of components specially selected to enable performance at this integral piping juncture. The ball valve is comprised of; a polyethylene PE 2406 (80 Grade), PE 3408 (100 Grade) body, a polyethylene PE 2406 (80 Grade), PE 3408 (100 Grade) end, a strong and thermal resistant polypropylene ball, a positively sealed under any condition polypropylene retainer, a reliably sealed between -29 ℃ to 60 ℃ nitrile ball seat, a durable and strong acetal stem, a dual O-ring redundant sealed nitrile stem seal, a dirt and water resistant nitrile weather seal, a 2 inch square or hexagonal polypropylene operator and an easy to purge polyethylene purge connector.

The polyethylene ball valves have a range of general benefits, some as a result of material, functions or manufacturing. The valves all meet or exceed EN 1555-4, ASME B16.40/DVGW/CSA/Transco T/SP/V/7 Part two and are assembled in an ISO 9001 certified facility. Reassuring or large projects, all of the valves are serial numbered and therefore also traceable. The valves can allow unrestricted flow and maximum capacity and in this manner they can perform optimally. Though one point of difference the polyethylene valves have within the line is that they are, by virtue of their materials, resistant to mechanical and thermal loads and strong. They are bubble tight sealed across temperature and pressure ranges. All in all the valves have been constructed for reliability and are all plastic with a low operating torque. To install the valves and operate them is easy with just a 1/4 turn required. The opening is full and from 1/2 inch through to 12 inches.
