Ethylene Antagonist Erum is developing has been focusing on customer’s growing demand for fresher and cruncher fruits and vegetables consumption as customer’s income and living expense rise. We already developed an 1-MCP (1-methylcyclopropene) generator.  

Now, 1-MCP is known to be the most effective material to prevent ethylene to trigger ripening process of picked fruits and vegetables. Although 1-MCP seems the most powerful ethylene antagonist but it’s application is limited as it is gas.

Longer chain of Cyclopropene gives heavier molecular weight and it exists as liquid at room temperature. Now Erum has developed various long-chained cyclopropenes based on previous 1-MCP technology using chemical precursor.

We believe that Erum’s cyclopropenes technology is conceptually simple and knit to be used and highly economical in terms of cost.
