A Fiber Optic Attenuator is used to weaken optical power at a certain level and it is an ideal solution for regulating the power. In addition to variable attenuators, KOC provides plug, in-line and patch cord type attenuators for fixed attenuators. For the plug type, there are SC, FC, LC, ST and MU packages which can be used directly to the fiber patch cord with adapters the other side. The attenuated patch cords have been provided as SC, ST, FC, LC, MU and hybrid types that can replace the conventional fixed attenuator combinations. KOC optical attenuators have been recognized as "Korean World-class Products" by Korean government.
