Description: Oyster peptide is the main ingredient of oyster. It is a kind of shellfish which is abundant in China and can be cultured in large quantities. The oyster is a traditional tonic. According to Compendium of Materia Medica, "oysters, treating asthenia, tonifying Yang, detoxification, supplementing the QI-blood of men and women, making skin tender and anti aging." The main ingredient is glycogen which can quickly replenish and restore physical strength and enhance immunity.
The study shows that the oyster meat is rich in a variety of minerals and trace elements, of which the content of calcium is 40-94.04mg/g, iron is 5.50-8.00 mg/g, selenium is 49.00 mg/g, and zinc is 22.54 mg/g. The content of taurine in the extract of oyster meat (dried) is 50.6 mg/g, which is much higher than that of clams, squids, sea cucumbers and other seafood.
