Description: Microcos paniculata is the leaf of Microcos paniculata Linn in Tiliaceae. It is mainly produced in Lingnan region of China, also known as the Microcos leaf. After 2010, various editions of the Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China included it. Microcos paniculata is one of the main raw materials of herbal tea in Dual-Guangs. It has the reputation of “Herbal Tea Treasure” among the people. The brand products of Herbal Tea are “Guangdong Herbal Tea”, “WONG LO KAT HERBAL TEA”, “JDB Herbal Tea”, “Ganhe Cha”, “NIAN SI WEI HERBAL TEA”, “Herbal Drink”, etc. Pharmacological studies have shown that it has anti-aging and insecticidal effects.
