Circular Scraper

Tasett Inc. Design & Manufacturer installs a large range of scraper bridges for all types of circular settlement tanks with the diameters up to 660 meters. In all cases the structures are designed by Tasett Inc. engineers to withstand all of the loads and stress placed on the bridges. The highest quality of the engineering standards are manufactured.

The Circular Settlement Tanks

The most common form of the circular tank scraper is the rotary half bridge. This is mounted on the central slewing bearing supported on the tripod assembly and is driven by an end carriage traveling around the periphery of the tank.

Scraper blades are designed in a helical curve formation which maximizes the scraping efficiency and thus sludge removal. Scraper blades are hinged 400mmm above the floor of the tank, an arrangement which provides for a more positive scraping action. Scum removal can be effected by using a number of different scum removal systems, Tasett Inc. can supply the ramp type and the rotating box type.

Refurbishment

Because we are designers and manufacturers of tank scraper bridges, Tasett Inc. can also carry out the complete refurbishment of any type of the existing scraper bridge.

All rotating bridges can be fitted with any of the channel cleaning systems.
