TANDEN EXTRUSION LAMINATING MACHINE

DAE JIN offers its own technology and experience with a creative and perfect solution. In fact, Extrusion Laminating Machine is the most commonly used method in the flexible packaging industry. In this process, two webs are bonded together by using a layer of Molten Polyethylene, using an Extruder and “T-DIE”. A thin coating of Molten Polyethylene is extruded onto the first web, and the second web is laminated to it, and then the whole “sandwich” is cooled by using a chilly roll. Due to difficulties of bonding the Molten Polyethylene to other materials, a primer coating normally has to be applied to the webs. By using more than one coating station, multi-layer structures can be created in one pass. This process normally needs quite considerable time to set up during operation. DAE JIN has continuously updated the know-how and therefore it has been equipped with new and easy setting (4-way movement) of the cooling roll unit to reduce setting time. The superior characteristics and performance of this system places it at the top of the DAE JIN product range. The DAE JIN machine can be offset by higher versatility if coating is also required. DAE JIN are also available to equip with U.S. made DIE or European made DIE on demand.
