Seojung Traditional Foods specializes in traditional foods designated by Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Under the company motto of “to preserve nature and health,” we strive to develop quality foods.

Seojung Traditional Foods are located at the southernmost area of Chungcheong South province in Seochcon-gun. Seocheon-gun is known for its clean water and air, and 60km of clear waters, and friendly warm people.

It is also located at the lower stream of Geum River, where clear freshwater flows naturally. It thus creates the perfect conditions for growing laver, and the region produces the highest quality laver in Korea.

Currently Seocheon accounts for 30% of laver in Korea, and 95% of laver in South Chungcheong Province. Seojung Traditional Foods is situated at this advantageous location. We aim to produce quality products with high quality ingredients and state-of-the-art automatic facilities.

Along with patents no. 61 and 13-10-32, our ginseng laver and seaweed calcium laver are the only types of laver in Korea to obtain patents as functional foods. Our product is Seocheon-gun special product no. 5.
