Environment-friendly system

- UV means ultraviolet. There is a difference in the curing method between the UV printing and other printing methods including the offset method.

- As UV curable ink does not include volatile organic compounds, it is not harmful to the human body. Accordingly, there is a trend mainly in developed countries, such as Europe that the UV curing printing method is increasing rapidly.

- The UV curable inkjet printer operates based on the principle that the ink sprayed from the nozzle will be fixed onto the material instantly when touched by the ultraviolet ray from the UV lamp. It will be absorbed onto the surface, not like the water-based or solvent-based inks that penetrate the materials. That is why the UV method can help express an image freely whether the material is hard or soft.

- Different from solvent-based method, the UV printing method is appreciated as being very eco-friendly as it does not emit volatile organic compounds that are harmful materials. Once fixed onto a surface through the UV printer, the image will not be removed or taken off easily, while the texture of the material will remain unchanged and the image can be printed in a delicate and clean manner.
