Posedo Co. Ltd. was established in 1992 as a joint venture between Sehwa Plastic Co., Ltd. of Korea and Plastic Omnium of France to produce the quality waste and recycling containers and contribute to the improvement of the environment in Korea.

While it began its operation as a joint venture, it has become an independently managed company since January 2006 to maximize operational excellence and efficiency.

General waste and recyclable management has been made efficient by Posedo with the introduction of automated collection system and the nation-wide distribution of containers that can be loaded automatically.

Recently, the local governments have adopted the drop-off point recycling system as there is an increasing need for recycling and improved living environment in urban areas, and the system has been proved effective in Jeju Island and the City of Incheon.

Based on the technological exchanges between Plastic Omnium, Posedo’s Clean System is the first in the industry to be equipped with the extensive line-up of large high-quality bins. Posedo also provides the professional consulting service on the installation of Clean System so as to satisfy the world wide demand for environment improvements.

Posedo is dedicated to addressing the environmental problems based on the continued research and development in the environment sector while investing in the new recycling programs (volume and weight based food waste recycling system) that supports the relevant national policy.
