Guide Tissue Punch

As a tool for second implant procedures, the GTP is used for exposing the gums after planting the implant, for procedures on substructures and for making holes accurately on the top of the substructures.

It is a device for removing cover screws which have covered implants inside the gums during second implant procedures. It reduces the time of implant procedures and improves treatment efficiency. Also, it has the correct structure to make accurate punches around the center of cover screw grooves.

Implant operation

The two-level procedure (when the bones are weak) is a traditional method.

1) Open the gums and make a hole in the bone

2) Plant an implant and cover it with the gum

3) After a few months, expose the implant through the second procedure

4) When the gum heals, plant the tooth

It is used before 3) above. It is used when exposing the gums, 3-4 months after the planting of the implant.

2. Traditional second operation

The incision of the gums by scalpel-It is the most common procedure but causes pain, takes a long time to conduct the procedure and a long period of time is needed for recovery.

The incision of the gums by laser-This method doesn’t cause pain but can’t punch holes accurately. And the device is expensive.

Punching by general tissue punch -This method causes less pain than the first method but accurate punching is

not possible because there is no guide pin. And the blades hit the cover. This method costs a lot of money because the

blades have to be replaced.

1. As the punching is made accurately during a one-time procedure, pain is reduced.

2. Punching suitable for the size of the implant cover screw is made.

3. It can be used for a long time as the guide pin prevents the blades from hitting the cover screw.

4. It reduces the procedure time.
