DGMIF, Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Foundation, was founded to create Korea's first cutting edge medical cluster - Medivalley. The Medivalley project is a government's development projet that aims to creat a world-class research facilitity where any person with a promising idea for a new drugs and advanced medical devices may receive support for research and development. A 1.03 million m2 in Daegu Innovation City was designated for a research cluster. The main infrastructure of DGMIF with 4 government core research centers(the new drug development center, the medical device development center, the laboratory animal center, the clinical drug manufacturing center)is a powerful engine to support Medivalley. DGMIF advances for the future of the medical industry.
